Reddit is a social news promotion site with unique features. A thumbs up & down rating system records your voting habits (i.e., what articles you like and dislike) and compiles a page of recommended links for each user. The interview is with alexis
Ohanian, co-founder. Read an interview with Justin Bunnell, Shoutwire.com founder here.Technorati's search engine is infamously used to find information in the blogosphere. From Technorati's About page: "Technorati displays what's important in the blogosphere - which bloggers are commanding attention, what ideas are rising in prominence, and the speed at which these conversations are taking place." The interview is with Derek Gordon, marketing director.
Psylock is on the forefront of biometric login software. They envision a computing future completely free of passwords, which can be a hassle to remember, especially when most people have so many. Their free on-site demo (above link directs there - recommended) showcases their technology. Once their program learns the distinct mannerisms of your typing behavior, it can authenticate your identity by recording your keystroke habits when you input a phrase into a command prompt. I posted about their software at the end of October (read the article). The interview is with Daria Ganitcheva, a team member and press contact.
