TV Going Techno

I have to admit, since the launch of digital cable and digital satellite
as well as the addition of DVRs, my television watching lifestyle has changed dramatically for the better. So much so that going back to standard cable would be so retro. I now have the ability to record whatever I want, whenever I want, and watch it when it is convenient for me. So I was really psyched to see the authors here talking about a product that is going to continue to change the way we watch TV. These devices are going to be equipped with Ethernet and WiFi Internet links so that you can download programs or movies onto your computer and then right into your TV's internal storage units. It is as though your television now comes equipped with a hard drive and you choose what you want to watch and when, and now you can literally get it from anywhere. Think TiVo, just a little more advanced.Big business loves this of course. After all, they now have another avenue to bombard you with advertising, and movie companies like Netflix are just lapping it up. I love the idea of my entire entertainment system going wireless, just thinking about it makes my life easier. It is hard to imagine what could possibly be next in television and entertainment advancements, but I am sure my grandchildren will have a great time chuckling when I try to explain to them what a cathode ray tube was. However, this is going to be out around the end of the year, by Christmas time. So keep an eye out for this.
