Toshiba Manufacturing The World's Thinnest LCD Display

Toshiba's new 11.1" notebook LCD, just announced for in masslinks production, is 50% the thickness of the previous industry thin screen record holder at 2.75 mm thick. The displays reportedly consume less power then comparable displays of similar size and sport a 1366 x 768 (16:9 WXGA) resolution.
