Some People Talk to Their Plants. Now Your Plants Can Talk to You!
The researchers at University of Colorado are on to something, check it out in this article. Here you are going to read about a technology that gets clipped to plants so that the plants let you know when they need water.

This is an eco-friendly alternative to excessive irrigation. By using this in heavily cropped areas, the state of Colorado is expected to save millions of dollars in the first year of use alone.

When the sensor on the plant detects a lack of moisture, data is sent over the wires to land a message right on your computer. Sheesh! Now if they could only get my cat to that technology, he would be feeling a lot less neglected.
