Slickr is a free screensaver application that feeds off Flickr groups, users, and tags you select to deliver a stream of photographs on to your idle computer. Its development cycle has produced four betas in the last three weeks; the most recent (Beta 4) released on December 31st. While the application requires an internet connection to display Flickr images, it can also stream pictures from a local folder. My only gripe with the software is its 15 second minimum for picture change; I'd like to see it at the Windows XP default, 6 seconds.
