Apple recently submitted a patent application for a new iPod function that incorporates the features of Griffin's iTrip: expect a future iPod model that can wirelessly transmit data to an FM receiver.

The Alpha Grip (pictured left) is a combination of the QWERTY keyboard, mouse trackball, and video game controller. Aimed at thumb keyboard users and game enthusiasts, its makers claim typing speeds of upto 50 WPM can be achieved.

A "Smart Bicycle" contains a sensor that detects steering direction and bike tilt, automatically balancing itself if an impending fall is detected.
