It's a phone. No! It's a Motion Detector...

Just when you thought that your cell phone could do everything, out comes another feature to enable you to simply, do more.

The D904i from DoCoMo, Japan's largest cell phone provider has launched a phone which contains a motion detector that will detect any kind of movement including shaking and tilting. Instead of punching in the numbers on your key pad, you move the handset around like a tennislinks racket to make the moves you want.

This feature is being specifically designed for game use on your cell phone, but you can see this as an emergent technology that will enable users to accomplish more on their phone simply by moving it around.
