Expand Your Library and Lighten the Load at the Same Time

Does anyone else see something wrong with this picture? I mean BESIDES the five digit price tag. For starters, if one is going to put literature into a nanotablet or something (I am still not sure about the technology) then maybe they should market it to the consumer who is interested in techno-savvy literature. I'd say books, but literature seems more appropriate. This is anything but a book. I don't know too many details about the book, but something that is called "Teeny Ted from Turnip Town" screams children's book! Then again, maybe I've just seen too many Barney episodes myself.
For another thing, I don't think our society has an inherent need for absolutely everything to go technical. After all, technology is supposed to make our lives easier, not more expensive, and certainly not more frustrating. Books to me are among those timeless treasures that many people enjoy; have loved for centuries. Many cite reading as their favorite pastime. And by this I mean, getting the iced tea and sitting on the veranda swing watching the kids play kind of reading. Seriously, not many porches have the kind of room required for an electron microscope. But maybe that's just me.
