fujitec's new elevator car optimization system, The Destination Floor Guidance System, debuted in the Metropolitan Park West Tower last Friday. It's the world's only artificial intelligence-based coordinator for mitigating elevator bottlenecks.

Prior to entering the elevator car, riders indicate what floor they're headed to at a kiosk with a touch screen panel interface. The software computes a time-efficient elevator usage projection based on historic traffic patterns and pending destination commands.
