An Alternative to Lower Gas Prices...

A team of MIT scientists and some automobile manufacturers have been working on an out-of-the-engine solution to this problem by adding a component to vehicles that will increase ethanol usage that coincides with gasoline efficiency. What this means is that by directly injecting ethanol into gasoline, fuel effiecency increases.
This will involve establishing a container near the engine that is full of ethanol and will need to be refilled every once in a while much like you fill your windshield fluid. The actual fuel that you use will be the same. Those fill ups will still cost you the same amount of money, but your TRIPS
to the fuel station will be much less frequent.Permalink: An Alternative to Lower Gas Prices...
