Oooooohhhhh.... At first, I enjoyed reading this ... until your last paragraph. Where do you get off making statements like that?!! (You'd sure make a lousy coach.) I have followed Phoenix Motorcars since their origin (and even knew its founders prior to it's existance -- back before 9/11). Even though you apparently don't know zilch about them, you still saw fit to declare that "Phoenix will be just another dead bird". That "dead bird" you forsee is the albatross that will be hanging from your neck. Did you even bother to find out anything about those unique batteries? Duuuuh! Do you even know their name? (It's "NanoSafe".) Any investigation would have revealed to you the fact that Phoenix has exclusive rights to the NanoSafe batteries for the first 3 years (with an option to extend). The company that produced them (Altair Nanotechnologies) even owns 16.6% of Phoenix. Mutually beneficial partnership. While we often start things just to make a buck, I feel that this has become more of an "inspired cause" for Phoenix and (especially) its founders. These folks are devoting their lives to not only bring several cruel giants down to size, but also curb global warming in the process! Yes, Phoenix obviously has a huge gauntlet ahead of them, and it would be totally acceptable to bring out those challenges. But No! ... You cold-bloodedly chose to simply prophesize their doom ... based on nothing but ignorant pre-judgement. You like to bet on the bullies ... so why don't you go sink all your money in the "Big Three" & OPEC. That will make it more fun watching them fall ... tripping over their own dirty deeds. Meanwhile, the world's first practical EVs will make Phoenix Motorcars "a brand that Americans have grown to love".
